CHALLENGES

Nevada has just one win in the 2017 season but a quick look at who they’d played reveals some quality opponents like Northwestern, Washington State and Colorado State (close loss). The good news is that Nevada isn’t a run happy team. They rely more on the pass which is what Air Force excels at defending. The Wolf Pack is also in the bottom half of the NCAA FBS at defending the run. If the Falcons can execute their offense and avoid turnovers they should be able to win their second straight game and get halfway to bowl eligibility.

Friday’s game with Nevada kicks off at 7:30 pm MT and can be seen on the CBS Sports Network.
